Ry’s Dill Pickle Dip

My daughter has the same passion for cooking that I do and occasionally I give her permission to “create” a recipe.  I let her use almost anything in the kitchen and put together a recipe.  The only rule is…you have to eat what you make. She really has a pretty good idea of what flavors go together.  And since she is eight, most of her recipes are pretty simple, and that is right up my alley.  She has asked me recently if I have shared her Dill Pickle Dip recipe yet, so here it is.

Ry’s Dill Pickle Dip

Ingredients:

1 Large Dill Pickle (diced)

2 Cups Sour Cream

1/2 Cup Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese

1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder

2 Tbs Pickle Juice

Mix all ingredients together and serve with tortilla chips. That’s it….it is that easy.  She loves to make it for company and special occasions.

About homefoodcook

I hope to share with you my ideas for cooking while using what is available to you in your kitchen pantry to make some delicious dishes. My passion for cooking started as a kid cooking Sunday morning breakfasts with my mom. I hope to pass that passion on to my two children by showing them how enjoyable cooking can be. I love to "create" recipes and I think I have a good idea of what flavors go well together. I will only post recipes that I have personally tried and I hope you find something to enjoy.
